Job summary

SOCSOUTH seeks an experienced logistics and visa operations specialist to support the Directorate of Operations (J3). The role demands 10 years of military service, DoD asset management expertise, and a SECRET clearance, with GCSS-A proficiency and travel to Miami consulates for visa processing.

Qualifications

• 10 years prior military experience.
• Minimum 5 years of logistical experience with asset management/inventory control.
• 3 years of experience with GCSS-A or similar DoD inventory systems.
• Familiar with visa application processes and travel regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage visa application programs and ensure timely processing.
• Administer sensitive accounts including SOF equipment, maintaining inventory and audits.
• Guarantee uninterrupted service delivery and manage fluctuating demands.
• Oversee contractor personnel schedules to ensure availability during designated hours.
• Manage material inventory and property for the SOCSOUTH Operations Directorate (J3).
• Coordinate visa-related matters and travel documentation for military and civilian personnel.
• Drive to Consulates and Embassies as needed for document processing in the Miami area.
• Liaise with high-level Consulates to facilitate visa acquisitions for USSOUTHCOM AOR SOF missions.
• Support equipment requirements for partner nations in line with DoD guidelines.
• Process visa applications weekly and travel locally at least twice weekly for processing.
