Job summary

Corvid Technologies, based in Huntsville, AL, seeks a Program Support Specialist to assist the Range Engineering program management team. The role focuses on control and financial reporting for government contracts, supporting budgets, baselines, and funding with close coordination with field and corporate finance teams.

The ideal candidate will have a business degree and at least 1 year in program controls, with strong MS Office skills and experience with Deltek.

Qualifications

  • Candidate must be a US Citizen and meet requirements to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business (or relevant discipline) and at least 1 year of experience in program controls or related role supporting a federal contractor (additional experience may substitute for degree)
  • Demonstrated experience with MS Office
  • Preferred candidate will have a strong analytical ability, including using scripting tools to develop relevant financial reports
  • Experience with Deltek is a plus
  • Some travel will be required (up to 10%)

Responsibilities

  • Review incurred costs and forecast future expenditures using labor productivity, material price forecasts, subcontract agreements, and other relevant data to provide timely financial updates to program leadership
  • Develop project budgets, baselines, and funding – while considering schedules and deliverables
  • Develop various monthly reports to include the Contract Funds Status Report, Monthly Status Report, and Funds and Man Hour Expenditure Report
  • Track Contract and Subcontract Mods and update spreadsheets accordingly
  • Support pricing and proposal activities
  • Work closely with Program Operations staff and Corporate Financial staff to collect and track consistent data.
  • Prepare, edit, and maintain a variety of documents, including reports, presentations, and correspondence. Ensure all documents are accurate and formatted correctly
  • Keep records of deliverables, auditable transactions, and trainings relating to program operations

Corvid is adding a dedicated Program Support Specialist to work with our Huntsville-based Range Engineering program management team. Corvid's Range Engineering division provides end-to-end engineering and integration solutions, dedicated to the operational success and continuous modernization of critical data collection infrastructure. We leverage our team's extensive experience in Range Engineering with customer centered Project Management: to maximize performance, mitigate risks, and ensure long-term operational success.


Candidate will bring a strong understanding of program controls, general understanding of government contracting, and the ability to develop financial models and reports based on corporate guidance and program requirements.
