Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Mooresville, NC is seeking a summer intern to support the accounting operations team. Responsibilities include assisting with journal entries, accounts payable and receivable, and month-end tasks for their ten LLCs. Candidates must be US Citizens, pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance with a minimum GPA of 3.0. This internship includes career development opportunities, social activities, and presentation experiences.

• Aptitude towards learning new ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operations and month-end tasks.
• Assist with journal entries, accounts payable & receivable.
• Help with bank reconciliations, audit and tax support.
• Support month-end close across multiple LLCs.

Job description

Corvid Technologies' Accounting team is looking to add a summer intern to support accounting operations.

The Accounting intern will support day-to-day operations and monthend tasks such as journal entries, accounts payable & receivable, bank reconciliations, audit and tax support, and month-end close processes for any of our 10 LLCs.

This internship will be part of Corvid's intern program, which includes multiple social activities, career development, a project presentation at the end of summer, and opportunities to learn more about our organization and the Defense Industry as a whole

Requirements:

• Candidate must be a US Citizen.
• Interns should be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance and maintain a GPA of at least 3.0.
• Demonstrated experience with MS Office (specifically Excel or Google Sheets) and an aptitude towards learning new ERP systems is required.
