Job description

The Program Support Coordinator will provide administrative and logistical support for the delivery of programs and events hosted by the Tennessee Society of CPAs (TSCPA). This position works closely with the Senior Manager of Talent & Programming and other staff members to ensure smooth preparation and execution of events and programs.

Job Responsibilities
  • Materials Preparation : Support the preparation and distribution of event materials. This includes packing and shipping materials to various off-site locations ahead of eventsaccording to program deadlines.
  • Event Logistics: Provide on-site or virtual event support, including registration, room setup, and coordination with vendors, speakers and participants.
  • Communication: Assist in communication with members and event participants by sending event reminders, collecting feedback, and answering questions related to event details.
  • Process Documentation : Assist member services team to update current processes and procedures related to membership recruitment, renewals, outreach, retention, membership collateral and other documentation needed to effectively support members.
  • Project Management Support: Assist in tracking project timelines, tasks, and deadlines across multiple programs and events.
  • Registration and Database Management: Assist with event registration processes, including data entry, tracking registrations, and maintaining accurate records in the membership management system.
  • Scholarship Program Support: Provide general administrative support for scholarship program, including data entry, scanning and filing.
Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; college students or recent graduates with an interest in program management, event planning, accounting profession or membership associations are encouraged to apply.
  • Skills:
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with virtual meeting platforms (Zoom, Teams, etc.).
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Comfortable interacting with members and external stakeholders.
Additional Information
  • The role is part-time and seasonal, with the potential to develop into a year-round role. Flexible hours will be needed based on the needs of the association.
