Job summary

Sheppard Pratt seeks a program supervisor for its Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program in Maryland. This in-person position oversees day programs and supportive living services, delivering client-centered care and staff supervision.

You will manage daily operations, ensure quality improvement, and coordinate services to meet client needs while maintaining regulatory compliance and fostering strong partnerships with providers and families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED. Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Two years of positively referenced experience.
• Supervisory experience is preferred.
• Requires on-call flexibility.
• A driver’s license with 3-points or less and access to an insured vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Manage program area(s) operations and supervise staff.
• Deliver services and ensure quality program delivery.
• Monitor day-to-day operations and maintain systems for continuous quality improvement.
• Coordinate direct support needs of clients and participate in staff hiring and training.
• Oversee staff supervision and performance evaluations.
• Monitor program budget and ensure compliance with licensing and funding requirements.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, families, and partner providers.

Shift: Monday - Friday, day or evening shift | Job Type: In-person

Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP) services consist of day programs and supportive living programs.

Clients in our day programs have access to group activities, individual support, and mental health services.

Clients in the supportive living program receive support in maintaining independent living and have access to the day program.

What to expect.

This is an opportunity to provide support for mental health treatment. You will be responsible for the management of program area(s), including the delivery of services and supervision of staff.

• Monitoring smooth day-to-day operations.
• Implementing and maintaining systems for continuous quality improvement.
• Assessing, coordinating, and implementing direct support service needs of clients.
• Participating in the hiring, training, and the ongoing supervision and evaluation of staff.
• Monitoring program budget.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable licensing, regulatory, funding, and accrediting bodies.
• Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with clients, support systems, and partner service providers.

This position has a flat rate of $53,560.
