Job summary

Sheppard Pratt in Lanham, MD is seeking a supervisor for the Residential Rehabilitation Program (RRP). This on-site role manages program areas, supervises staff, and ensures service delivery within budget and regulatory requirements.

Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday, 10am–6pm with on-call flexibility. The position emphasizes quality improvement, client outcomes, and collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team to help clients obtain housing, employment, and mental health services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Two years of positively referenced experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Driver’s license with 3 points or less and access to an insured vehicle.
• Requires on-call flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Monitor smooth day-to-day operations.
• Implement and maintain systems for continuous quality improvement.
• Assess, coordinate, and implement direct support service needs of clients.
• Participate in the hiring, training, and ongoing supervision and evaluation of staff.
• Monitor program budget.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, regulatory, funding, and accrediting bodies.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients and partners.

Residential Rehabilitation Program (RRP) services are designed for individuals with serious mental illness who have difficulty maintaining housing. Our team helps individuals obtain housing, employment, mental health services, and more.

What to expect.

This is an opportunity to provide support for mental health treatment. You will be responsible for the management of program areas, including the delivery of services and supervision of staff.

Additional responsibilities will include:

• Monitoring smooth day-to-day operations.
