Job summary

Mentor Community Services, part of Sevita, is seeking a Program Supervisor in Laurel, DE to lead and support a team delivering community-based services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

You will oversee staff, participate in hiring and scheduling, and ensure high-quality support, including daily living activities, medication administration, and community outings. This role blends hands-on care with program leadership in a mission-driven organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year related work experience is required.
• Must be 18 years or older and have a valid driver’s license.
• Excellent communication and strong organizational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate ISP implementation and participate in admin tasks including staff hiring, training, scheduling, and oversight.
• Supervise a team of Caregivers supporting individuals in the program.
• Provide direct support with daily activities, meal preparation, medication administration, and personal care.
• Balance direct service with supervision and program activities, ensuring quality care.
