Job summary

REM Community Services, part of Sevita, seeks a Program Supervisor to oversee a team delivering supports to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will facilitate ISP implementation, hire, train, schedule, and provide supervision.

Responsibilities include supervising caregivers, assisting with daily activities, medication administration, and coordinating community outings and transportation to ensure high-quality, person-centered supports.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• One year related work experience.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license with active status for over 1 year.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with staff and individuals served.
• Strong organizational abilities to maintain staffing and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the implementation of Individual Service Plans (ISP) and participate in administrative duties including staff hiring, training, scheduling, and oversight.
• Supervise a team of Caregivers supporting individuals in the program.
• Provide support to individuals including daily activities, meal preparation, medication administration, and personal care.
• Duties include direct support, professional program activities, and supervision.
• Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings or providing transportation.
