Heart of Texas Region Behavioral Health Network is seeking a leader to oversee peer related services in the veteran's services program and to ensure compliance with contract requirements. The role emphasizes volunteer management, program development, and establishing new community partnerships to drive recruitment and growth.
The position requires military/veteran status, a high school diploma or higher, and at least two years of relevant work experience; advanced degrees are preferred.
Responsible for providing oversight of peer related services in the veteran's services program and ensures achievement of all contract agreement requirements. The position requires skills in volunteer management as well as program development. Marketing and establishing new community partnerships are a critical to recruitment and program growth. This person will promote an atmosphere conducive to cooperation and collaborative work among staff and volunteers which fosters morale, personnel development, program growth, and high quality of clinical care.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Position requires military experience/veteran status, a High School Diploma, Associates, bachelor's or master's degree and two years' work experience. Experience may be substituted on a year per year basis with education up to one year. Degree from an accredited college or university in a human service field is preferred.
License or Registration Required: Valid Texas driver's license and proof of auto liability insurance.

Salary: $37,800 Annually/ $18.1730 hourly
