Job summary

Center for Family Services in Camden County, NJ is hiring for a dedicated FPS program role to support clinical and administrative operations. The position offers a salary of $58,000 to $65,000 per year and a full-time schedule.

The incumbent will assist the FPS Program Director, maintain a caseload when needed, provide counseling services, and coordinate referrals to longer-term supports. A MSW or related master's degree is required.

Qualifications

• MSW degree or related counseling field required.
• LSW or equivalent certification preferred.
• Must have a car, valid registration, insurance and driver's license.
• Experience working with families and children, knowledge of crisis intervention, cognitive/behavioral skills, communication skills.
• Ability to relate to and engage multi-problem families.

Responsibilities

• Assist FPS Program Director in clinical and administrative operations.
• Maintain a caseload when needed and provide concrete services.
• Refer families to longer-term services and supports as needed.
• Collaborate with CP&P and other agencies on case management.
• Participate in FPS training and complete paperwork timely.
• Supervise follow-ups at 3, 6, and 12 months to assess FPS interventions.

Job Type/Status: Full Time

Salary: $58,000 to $65,000 per year

Duties and Responsibilities

• Is responsible for assisting FPS Program Director in the clinical and administrative operations of the FPS Program
• Maintains a caseload when needed, utilizing FPS program model and providing concrete services if necessary. Is directly accessible to families 24 hours a day/7days a week
• Assists families by actively referring them to appropriate longer-term services and support, if necessary
• Works cooperatively with staff from CP&P and other community agencies, especially regarding case management issues
• Participates in on-going training provided by DCF and Rutgers University
• Completes all necessary paperwork in a timely basis and in a professional manner
• Supervises the 3,6 and 12-month follow-ups of families to determine success of FPS interventions
• Provides supervision to direct service staff
• Provides counseling and/or a variety of direct counseling services
• May perform specialized activities and functions specific to program
• May be responsible for administrative functions for the program
• Contributes on Agency committees and special tasks
• May represent Agency and program in the community
• Provides leadership to staff, and promotes a sense of agency with co-workers and staff, and communicates in ways that support agency missions and values

Requirements
