Job summary

The Arc of Cumberland and Perry Counties in Carlisle is seeking a dedicated Program Supervisor to supervise program staff, support participants in reaching personal goals, and ensure smooth operation of the program site. This role provides leadership and hands-on support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to help them thrive at home, at the center, and in the community.

Responsibilities include coordinating volunteer opportunities, maintaining open communications

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 2 years direct experience working with individuals with disabilities, OR Associate's Degree (or 60 college credits) and 4 years of direct experience.
• Experience with positive behavior support and staff supervision preferred.
• Must be physically able to assist participants; Valid PA driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise program staff and ensure safety of participants; monitor site conditions and respond to emergencies.
• Assist with administration and documentation of medications.
• Increase vocational skills and opportunities for participant placement.
• Assist participants with Individual Support/Person Centered Plans and community involvement.
• Monitor and promote positive behavior and participation in community activities.
