Job summary

D&S Community Services, part of the Sevita family, seeks a Program Supervisor to lead a care team in Brenham, TX. The role focuses on ISP implementation, staff oversight, and direct support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a community-based setting.

Responsibilities include hiring, training, scheduling, coordinating transportation, and ensuring quality care. Eligible candidates will have a valid driver’s license and strong communication skills to engage

Qualifications

One year related work experience.
Must be 18 years or older.
Current driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance.
Other licensure or certification where required by regulatory authority.
Excellent communication skills with an ability to establish rapport with team members and those served.
Strong organizational abilities to ensure staffing and schedules are maintained.
Opportunity to gain supervisory skills while directly helping people daily.

Responsibilities

Facilitate the implementation of Individual Service Plans (ISP) and participate in staff hiring, training, scheduling, and oversight.
Supervise a team of Caregivers supporting individuals in the program.
Provide support to individuals including daily activities such as meal preparation, medication administration, and personal care.
Duties are split between direct support, professional/program activities, and supervision.
Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings or providing transportation.
