Job summary

Brightpoint seeks a Program Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of a 24/7 Crisis Nursery and related family support programs. You will supervise assigned staff, ensure around-the-clock coverage, and may provide direct services to participants.

The role requires supervisory experience (preferred) and experience with families in crisis, along with bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish) being advantageous. A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in social work or related field with 2 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor’s Degree with 4 years of relevant experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience dealing with families in crisis and effective crisis intervention skills preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, insurance, and a reliable vehicle required.
• Ability to communicate in both English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and evaluates crisis nursery and family support staff regularly, including staff training and program plans.
• Administers personnel policies, hiring, performance appraisals, leave, promotions, and documentation of actions.
• Oversees full implementation of program plans and ensures licensing/regulatory compliance.
• Plans and conducts regular staff meetings and provides supervision to staff.
• Provides case consultation and back-up coverage as needed.
• Collaborates with funders and partners to meet reporting requirements and program standards.
• Monitors and improves the program’s CQI process and funding reports.
• Ensures 24/7, 365 days-a-year coverage for the program.
