Job summary

Qualifications

  • At least two years experience in behavioral health and intellectual disabilities treatment.
  • Supervisory experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall supervision of the Residential Treatment Facility for Adults to ensure effective therapeutic interventions.
  • Maintain compliance with DPW Code 55 and related regulatory standards.
  • Provide direct services as needed, including crisis management and supportive interventions.
  • Facilitate treatment planning and align interventions with individual goals.
  • Review and approve documentation to meet clinical and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor progress toward measurable outcomes based on clinical diagnoses.
  • Coordinate continuity of care with interdisciplinary teams and providers.

JOB SUMMARY:

To promote the mission of PATH to help individuals achieve a more independent and fulfilling life by managing an effective team to provide quality services. Responsible for the supervision of the Behavioral Health/Development Disability Residential Treatment Facility for Adults. Ensure Program utilizes Evidence Based Practices. Work collaboratively with providers to develop comprehensive support for individuals with co-occurring I/DD and behavioral health needs who may experience complexities associated with neurodevelopmental issues, trauma, and challenging behavior. Work closely with community residential treatment providers for successful discharge of individuals served in the RTFA.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Work is active and may include bending, lifting, stairs and other physical activities. Ability to perform crisis management interventions, including restraints, once training is successfully completed. Ability to perform CPR once training is successfully completed.

QUALIFICATIONS

Masters degree in Behavioral Health Discipline preferred; At least two years experience in the provision of behavioral health and intellectual disabilities treatment and rehabilitation for children, youth and/or adults, supervisory experience strongly preferred; Required to have a Driver's License and personal vehicle; Excellent writing skills and ability to use an electronic health record.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:
  • Provide overall supervision of program at assigned Residential Treatment site to ensure the effective delivery of therapeutic interventions, skills training, and psychoeducational programming.
  • Maintain and enforce compliance with DPW’s Code 55, PA OMHSAS’s Memo date November 1995 titled: Requirements for Licensure of Residential Treatment Facilities for Adults; PA Code 5100, CARF program standards; DHS, DBH and CBH requirements, as well as ODP requirements if indicated..
  • Provide direct services as needed, including crisis management and therapeutic support
  • Facilitate treatment planning, as needed, and ensure interventions align with individualized goals and rehabilitation plans
  • Review and approve documentation to ensure compliance with clinical, regulatory, and organizational standards
  • Implement programmatic goals and monitor progress toward achieving measurable outcomes based on clinical diagnosis of individuals.
  • Ensure continuity of care through collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, therapists, and other service providers.
  • Respond to program emergencies and crises, providing timely and appropriate interventions.
  • Ensure licensure compliance and regulatory readiness through regular audits and adherence to policies
  • Implement program goals and monitor progress toward achieving measurable outcomes
