Job summary

PATH, based in Philadelphia, seeks an Associate Program Director for a Residential Treatment Facility. The role oversees the program at the assigned site, supervises staff, facilitates staff hiring and onboarding, ensures safety and compliance, coordinates services for residents, and promotes community integration.

Minimum 3 years in behavioral health and a Master's degree; LSW/LCSW preferred; a valid driver's license and vehicle are required.

  • At least 3 years of work experience with Behavioral Health population.

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall supervision of program at the assigned Residential Treatment site.
  • Provide individual and group supervision of assigned staff, including Residential Treatment Assistants.
  • Fill staff vacancies by interviewing and recommending candidates to HR; complete site orientations.
  • Ensure policies and procedures are followed before, during, and after any physical intervention.
  • Observe and provide feedback to Residential Treatment Associates to align with treatment plans.
  • Hold community meetings and similar gatherings regularly.
  • Help residents access psychiatric, medical, social, and financial services.
  • Communicate relevant information to psychiatrists and team members.
  • Collaborate on skill training for individuals and families on site and at home.
  • Monitor site health and safety and coordinate with Facilities.
  • Ensure housekeeping, dietary, and basic life needs are met.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the site.
  • Provide opportunities for community integration for residents.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
QUALIFICATIONS

Masters degree in Behavioral Health Discipline,3 years work experience working with Behavioral Health population and aPreferred LSW, LCSW . At least three years' experience in the provision of behavioral health treatment for children, youth and adults. Driver's License and Vehicle Required

SPECIFIC DUTIES:
  1. 1. Provide overall supervision of program at assigned Residential Treatment site
  2. 2. Provide individual and group supervision of assigned staff, to include Residential Treatment Assistants.
  3. 3. Ensure that staff vacancies are filled by interviewing and recommending selected candidates for hire to Human resources Department. Complete site orientations for all new hires.
  4. 4. Ensure that policies and procedures are followed before, during and after any physical intervention.
  5. 5. Regularly observe and provide feedback to Residential Treatment Associates to ensure that their interactions with each resident are consistent with the individual’s treatment and rehabilitation plans
  6. 6. Ensure community meetings and other similar meetings are held on a regular basis.
  7. 7. Ensure individuals gain access to needed psychiatric, medical, social, financial and other appropriate services
  8. 8. Ensure that all relevant information is communicated to the psychiatrist and all other team members
  9. 9. Implement and collaborate with team, skill training for individuals and families both on site and in the individual’s home.
  10. 11. Monitor program site to ensure health and safety of residents and coordinate with Facilities Department.
  11. 12. Ensure that the housekeeping, dietary and other basic life needs of each resident are being met
  12. 13. Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of site at all times
  13. 14. Ensure opportunities for residents to engage in community integration are provided
