PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
QUALIFICATIONS
Masters degree in Behavioral Health Discipline,3 years work experience working with Behavioral Health population and aPreferred LSW, LCSW . At least three years' experience in the provision of behavioral health treatment for children, youth and adults. Driver's License and Vehicle Required
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
- 1. Provide overall supervision of program at assigned Residential Treatment site
- 2. Provide individual and group supervision of assigned staff, to include Residential Treatment Assistants.
- 3. Ensure that staff vacancies are filled by interviewing and recommending selected candidates for hire to Human resources Department. Complete site orientations for all new hires.
- 4. Ensure that policies and procedures are followed before, during and after any physical intervention.
- 5. Regularly observe and provide feedback to Residential Treatment Associates to ensure that their interactions with each resident are consistent with the individual’s treatment and rehabilitation plans
- 6. Ensure community meetings and other similar meetings are held on a regular basis.
- 7. Ensure individuals gain access to needed psychiatric, medical, social, financial and other appropriate services
- 8. Ensure that all relevant information is communicated to the psychiatrist and all other team members
- 9. Implement and collaborate with team, skill training for individuals and families both on site and in the individual’s home.
- 11. Monitor program site to ensure health and safety of residents and coordinate with Facilities Department.
- 12. Ensure that the housekeeping, dietary and other basic life needs of each resident are being met
- 13. Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of site at all times
- 14. Ensure opportunities for residents to engage in community integration are provided
