Job summary

Community Services Group is seeking a Program Supervisor to oversee daily operations in one or more community homes or services for individuals with IDD/ASD. The role includes supervising direct support staff, coordinating schedules, and promoting community participation.

The position is full-time (40 hours) with evenings/weekends as needed and on-call rotation. Orientation and training are provided, with mileage reimbursement for orientation travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year working experience in programs for individuals with mental illness (MH), intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), or autism spectrum disorders (ASD).
• Must have a valid driver’s license, good driving record, and access to a reliable vehicle to attend trainings, meetings, and/or transport individuals to appointments.
• Must be able to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the direct supervisor of the direct support staff and assist in interviewing, hiring, orienting and training.
• Participates in the company’s on-call system.
• Ensures the health, safety and welfare of the individuals within the program.
• Coordinates and ensures the development of schedules, activities and routines and actively promotes opportunities for individuals to participate in community integrated activities.
• Transports and/or coordinates transportation for individuals in personal or company vehicles for meetings, appointments or community activities.
• Communicates relevant information to families and other professionals as necessary.
• Oversees and maintains records pertaining to inventory and funds; maintains adequate funds for individuals and home.
• Adheres to program budget for food, supplies.
• Performs job responsibilities of direct care staff.

Summary: The Program Supervisor is responsible for the daily operation of one or more community homes, community participation support services or community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The Program Supervisor is responsible for the delegation of work, assignment of duties, completion of tasks of direct support staff and for supporting the principles and values of self-determination, in accordance with Community Services Group policies and applicable regulations.

The Program Supervisor reports directly to the Program Manager.

This position is part of our Adult Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) Services. The position is Full-Time (40 hours per week) - Generally Monday to Friday hours with flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed including rotating on-call.

CSG’s Intellectual and Developmental Disability (IDD/ASD) Services is excited to offer a 2 week paid orientation for this position.

Orientation includes the necessary foundational training needed before providing services in the programs and sets you up for a successful career at CSG.

Orientation is held in-person at our Mountville, Williamsport, and Bethlehem offices.

Mileage reimbursement is provided for orientation related travel.

Wage Information:

$23.00 per hour

Job Description:

Oversees and maintains records pertaining to inventory, both for company owned property and possessions belonging to individuals. Accounts for all individual funds and petty cash funds; maintains an adequate supply of funds for the individuals and the home. Adheres to the program budget for food, household and operating supplies. Knowledge of and ability to adhere to a professional code of ethics. Performs job responsibilities of direct care staff.
