Job summary

Community Services Group is seeking a Program Supervisor for Autism Residential Services in Lancaster, PA. This full-time role oversees direct support staff, coordinates schedules, and ensures safety and community integration for individuals with ASD.

The position requires a high school diploma, valid driver’s license, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts. Orientation and ongoing training are provided. Competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year working experience in programs for individuals with mental illness (MH), intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), or autism spectrum disorders (ASD).
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, good driving record, and access to a reliable vehicle to attend trainings, meetings, and/or transport individuals to appointments.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

  • Direct supervisor of direct support staff; assists in interviewing, hiring, orienting and training.
  • Participates in the company’s on-call system.
  • Ensures the health, safety and welfare of the individuals within the program.
  • Coordinates and development of schedules, activities and routines; promotes opportunities for community integration.
  • Transports and/or coordinates transportation for individuals in personal or company vehicles for meetings, appointments or community activities.
  • Serves as an active member of the service team and communicates relevant information to families and other professionals as necessary.
  • Oversees and maintains records pertaining to inventory and funds; maintains funds for individuals and home.
  • Adheres to program budget for supplies and meals.
  • Knowledge of and ability to adhere to a professional code of ethics.
  • Performs job responsibilities of direct care staff.

The Program Supervisor is responsible for the delegation of work, assignment of duties, completion of tasks of direct support staff and for supporting the principles and values of self-determination, in accordance with Community Services Group policies and applicable regulations. The Program Supervisor reports directly to the Program Manager. This position is part of our Adult Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) Services. The position is Full-Time (40 hours per week) - Generally Monday to Friday hours with flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed including rotating on-call. CSG’s Intellectual and Developmental Disability (IDD/ASD) Services is excited to offer a 2 week paid orientation for this position. Orientation includes the necessary foundational training needed before providing services in the programs and sets you up for a successful career at CSG. Orientation is held in-person at our Mountville, Williamsport, and Bethlehem offices.
