Dungarvin in Texas is seeking a Program Supervisor to oversee daily operations of assigned programs, ensuring staff orientation and ongoing training while delivering person-centered supports to individuals with IDD and other needs.

The entry-level (Lead Caregiver) supervisory role emphasizes hands-on care with growth into leadership, and requires strong communication and teamwork skills. Schedule is Monday–Friday 1:00pm–9:00pm; starting pay is $11.25/hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• High school diploma/GED equivalent required.
• A two-year degree in related social services and/or two years of experience in IDD with supervisory experience preferred.
• Person-centered, patient, and kind.
• Dependable, adaptable, flexible.
• Observant and detail oriented.
• Positive role-model and able to work on a team.
• Committed to creating a respectful and collaborative environment.
• Computer skills for documentation.
• Valid driver's license for transporting persons served.
• Some positions may require own vehicle and auto-liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and oversight of all employees at assigned programs.
• Monitor, coordinate, and ensure all services to the individual are delivered
• Program supervisors are expected to ensure all direct service shifts in their program(s) are filled
• Provide training for employees
• Conduct monthly staff meetings
• Provide hands-on assistance, encouragement, mentoring, and guidance.
• Ensure the comfort, safety, and personal growth of the individuals we serve.
• Assist with daily living tasks such as moving around, getting in and out of bed, dressing, bathing, toileting, personal hygiene and more.

Job Description

TheProgram Supervisor is responsible for coordination and management of the daily operations of the overall services in assigned programs. The two priority areas of responsibility include ensuring orientation and ongoing training of employees and ensuring all aspects of the program are developed, implemented, coordinated, and monitored to the highest degree possible. This entry-level (Lead Caregiver) supervisory role is ideal for candidates with at least two years of experience in the IDD field. The position centers on hands-on direct care while offering exposure to light supervisory duties as you grow in the role.
