Job summary

Dungarvin is seeking an entry-level Program Supervisor to coordinate and manage daily operations across assigned programs. The role emphasizes orientation and ongoing staff training with hands-on direct care as you grow into supervisory duties.

Ideal candidates have at least two years in the IDD field, with a focus on person-centered care, teamwork, and safety. This is a full-time, on-site position offering growth and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• High school diploma/GED equivalent required.
• A two-year degree in related social services and/or two years of experience working in the field of developmental disabilities with supervisory experience preferred.
• Person-centered, patient, and kind.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and oversight of all employees at assigned programs.
• Monitor, coordinate, and ensure all services to the individual are delivered.
• Program supervisors are expected to ensure all direct service shifts in their program(s) are filled.
• Provide training for employees.
• Conduct monthly staff meetings.
• Provide hands-on assistance, encouragement, mentoring, and guidance.
• Ensure the comfort, safety, and personal growth of the individuals we serve.
• Assist with daily living tasks such as moving around, getting in and out of bed, dressing, bathing, toileting, personal hygiene and more.

Job Description

TheProgram Supervisoris responsible forcoordination and management of the daily operations of the overall services in assigned programs.The two priority areas of responsibility include ensuring orientation and ongoing training of employees and ensuring all aspects of the program are developed, implemented, coordinated, andmonitoredto the highest degree possible.This entry-level supervisory role is ideal for candidates with at least two years of experience in the IDD field. The position centers on hands-on direct care while offering exposure to light supervisory duties as you grow in the role.
