Job summary

Dungarvin is seeking a Program Director to oversee residential and day programs for individuals with developmental disabilities. The role combines direct care with supervisory duties, ensuring program quality and person-centered supports.

The position is full-time with on-call responsibilities and a hybrid work arrangement, offering benefits and growth opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in human services, 2+ years in management, and a track record of coordinating

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field is required.
• At least 1 year full-time direct experience with participants with developmental disabilities.
• At least 2 years of management experience working with developmental or intellectual disabilities.
• Experience in developing and implementing individual programs, budgets and supervising employees is desired.
• Demonstrate good decision-making, time management and communication skills.
• Committed to creating a respectful and collaborative environment.
• Ability to lift/transfer and provide personal cares to persons served.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
• Successful clearance of a criminal background check for licensing requirement.
• Strong reading, writing and communication skills to document care and follow support plans.

Responsibilities

• Personnel management and program coordination including orientation and ongoing training.
• Monitor all aspects of the program including developing individual goals and plans and implementing the program.
• Coordinate and manage the overall operations, medical, financial and maintenance aspects through the designee.
• Provide leadership and team-building with staff at programs.
• Ensure quality of services in alignment with person-centered practices, licensing and Dungarvin expectations.
• Direct care as needed at programs.

Job Description

As theProgram Directoryou will have oversight and be responsible for coordinating and managing the overall assigned program or programs (residential and/or day program) in relation to individuals with developmental disabilities (IDD).This position is a mixture of both direct care and supervisory duties.
