Job summary

Dungarvin is seeking a Program Supervisor to oversee day programs, coordinate services, and support a team delivering person-centered supports for individuals with developmental disabilities. You will ensure accurate documentation, implement programs effectively, and maintain regulatory compliance while fostering teamwork and positive outcomes.

The role emphasizes supervisory duties, staff development, and hands-on guidance to help participants with daily living and personal growth.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma/GED equivalent required.
  • A two-year degree in related social services and/or two years of experience working in the field of developmental disabilities with supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily supervision and oversight of all employees at Day programs.
  • Monitor, coordinate, and ensure all services to the individual are delivered
  • Program supervisors are expected to ensure all direct service shifts in their program(s) are filled
  • Provide training for employees
  • Conduct monthly staff meetings
  • Provide hands‑on assistance, encouragement, mentoring, and guidance.
  • Ensure the comfort, safety, and personal growth of the individuals we serve.
  • Assist with daily living tasks such as moving around, getting in and out of bed, dressing, bathing, toileting, personal hygiene and more.

Job Description

What You Get To Do:

The Program Supervisor plays a key role in delivering high-quality services to individuals by combining direct support responsibilities with program coordination and administrative support. This position ensures accurate documentation, effective program implementation, and compliance with regulatory standards while supporting team collaboration and individual outcomes.
