Job summary

The City and County of San Francisco - Human Services Agency is seeking a Program Specialist to perform specialized technical duties across IHSS, CAAP, CalWORKs, WDD, FCS, Investigations, SF Benefits Net and more. Under general supervision, you will review, evaluate, and coordinate program activities to ensure compliance with laws and policies.

You will research regulations, prepare reports, develop training materials, and support program management systems while guiding clerical and eligibility

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in social services related to eligibility, case management, data management, or employment services.
• Experience with large data sets and reporting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review, advise, monitor, and update policies for compliance with regulations.
• Research program regulations and prepare reports tracking metrics for stakeholders.
• Compose memos, manuals, and presentation materials.
• Facilitate projects and workgroups; provide tech support for program systems.
• Supervise clerical or senior eligibility staff as needed.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
• QUALITY CONTROL, INVESTIGATIONS, OVERPAYMENTS, AND/OR APPEALS SPECIALIST duties as assigned.
• TRAINING AND POLICY DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST duties as assigned.
• TECHNICAL PROGRAM SPECIALIST duties as assigned.
