About the Position

*This is a non-state service, time-limited position.* Maintain working relationships with subgrantees and all applicable MSDH staff. Build and/or strengthening collaborative relationships with the internal and external stakeholders supporting and advancing VAWA project objectives and for directing any timelines and tracking progress towards project completion. Maintain compliance with the Violence Against Women Act grants, including: Maintain up to date knowledge of Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), STOP Program and SASP Program requirements, and OVW requirements for programs and federal grants; Serve as the liaison between the Office on Violence Against Women and the State; Serve as Grant Administrator on the federal grant, responsible for federal grant reporting, grant application submissions, special conditions compliance, closeout procedures, assist with writing, implementing, updating, and submitting the STOP Implementation Plan. Monitor and submit Muskie reports and ensure subgrantees are submitting Muskie reports timely and completely. Assist with administer VAWA sub-grants. Provide programmatic and financial grant and subgrant management and oversee the subgrant monitoring process to ensure appropriate use of the VAWA funds and subgrantee compliance with federal and state laws, rules, and regulations associated with the receipt of the VAWA funds. Develop processes for subawarding funds for meeting the goals and objectives as well as any requirements of the VAWA as listed in the Implementation plan. Coordinate federal grant monitoring, site visits, and compliance audits as scheduled by the OVW and other federal oversight agencies, such as the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) and/or the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO). Provides technical assistance to subgrantees. Assist with subgrant and reimbursement requests.
