Job summary

BronxWorks is seeking a Program Specialist to deliver HIV prevention services and rapid testing in the Bronx. The role focuses on direct client work, education, and referrals within a multi-service agency environment.

Responsibilities include administering HIV and HCV tests, coordinating with social services, and producing regular progress reports as part of a team dedicated to improving community health and well‑being.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma. BA preferred.
• Food Protection Certificate Preferred.
• Valid NYS Driver’s License is REQUIRED.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct services and prevention education to clients living with HIV/AIDS (PLWH/A) and those at high risk for HIV, STI’s and Hepatitis C.
• Administer HIV and HCV Testing.
• Coordinate client services with other social services and providers.
• Prepare and conduct educational workshops and presentations.
• Provide weekly and monthly reports and communicate with supervisor.
