Job summary

Walnut YMCA Family Location is seeking a Program Specialist focused on Dance to develop and implement dance programs for youth and teens. The role involves creating diverse curricula across ballet, jazz, hip-hop, modern, and contemporary styles, while updating content with current trends and best practices.

Ideal candidates bring 2–3 years of dance instruction or performance experience and strong interpersonal skills to serve a diverse community.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to serve a diverse community.
• Previous experience as a dance instructor or performer (2-3 years preferred).
• Experience teaching various styles of dance (e.g., ballet, jazz, hip-hop, contemporary).
• Strong understanding of dance techniques, choreography, and performance practices.

Rate of pay: $16.85 – $18.96. Final compensation is based on factors such as skills, qualifications, and experience.

Minimum Qualifications:
