Job summary

KinderCare Education seeks a Program Specialist to bring our curriculum to life in centers nationwide. You’ll develop and lead programs from classroom implementation to ongoing enhancement, ensuring teachers can articulate what children are learning.

You’ll spend most of your time in classrooms mentoring staff, partnering with families, and supporting enrollment and accreditation goals, while providing leadership in training and hiring of teachers.

Qualifications

• Strong ability to build relationships with families and coworkers.
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English.
• Able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and engage in physical activity.
• Approved State Trainer (preferred).
• NAEYC/NAC and state licensing knowledge (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Ensure curriculum is presented as intended and that teachers can speak to the curriculum and what children are learning.
• Spend 75% of time in the classroom, educating children and mentoring and modeling for teachers.
• Partner with parents with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Train, motivate and lead staff and assist center management with interviewing and hiring of teachers.
• Support center goals around enrollment, accreditation, and operational objectives.
