Job summary

KinderCare Education is seeking a Program Specialist to bring our curriculum to life in centers and lead programs from classroom implementation to ongoing enhancements. You will support teachers, mentor staff, and partner with parents to ensure high-quality care and education.

In this role you will spend the majority of time in classrooms, build relationships with families, and help center leaders achieve enrollment and accreditation goals while modeling best practices for staff.

Qualifications

• Ability to build relationships with families and coworkers.
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Approved State Trainer (preferred).
• NAEYC/NAC and state licensing knowledge (preferred).
• Meet state-specific guidelines for the role.
• Physically able to use a computer with basic proficiency, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, indoors or outdoors.
• Able to assume postures to engage with children and keep them safe.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents.

Responsibilities

• Ensure curriculum is presented as intended and teachers can discuss what children are learning.
• Spend 75% of time in the classroom educating children and mentoring teachers.
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Train, motivate and lead staff; assist center management with interviewing and hiring.
• Support center success by partnering with staff to achieve enrollment, accreditation, and operational goals.
