Job summary

Easterseals NH in Stratham (NH) is seeking a Program Specialist to join our day program team. You will work with the Program Manager to develop and monitor program goals and provide on-the-job training to new Direct Support Associates.

This full-time role requires a valid driver's license and the ability to travel to the Manchester area. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a supportive, recovery-focused workplace.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Human Services or related field and 1 year of Direct Support experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent and 2 years of Direct Support experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and transportation arrangements (vehicle insurance).

• Maintain and document contact with assigned DSA for at least six months.

• Assist with preparation and compliance of required documentation.
• Perform direct support responsibilities including personal care and transportation.

Location

Stratham and surrounding areas. Must be willing to travel to the Manchester area.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with the Program Manager to assist in reviewing, monitoring and participating in the development, implementation and monitoring of program goals.
• Act as a Peer Guide for assigned new Direct Support Associates (DSA) which includes providing on the job training and program orientation with assigned DSA
• Maintaining and documenting contact with assigned DSA for a minimum of six months
• Consistently demonstrate professionalism, exceptional customer service, and positive demeanor
• Elevate any positive feedback and/or concerns to supervisor.
• Assist with preparation and compliance of required documentation as requested by supervisor
• Perform direct support responsibilities as necessary including personal care and transportation.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Human Services or related field and (1) year of Direct Support experience OR a High School Diploma or equivalent and two years of Direct Support experience
• Must have a valid driver’s license, a reliable vehicle, and automobile insurance for transportation requirements.

Compensation

$21 Hourly

Hours

Full-Time, 40 hours per week; Monday-Friday 9a-5p
