We are seeking a Program Specialist to join our team in Westmoreland and Washington Counties, PA.

The Program Specialist plays a critical role in the day-to-day management and oversight of specific client care within their identified Division. Reporting to the Director of Programs, this position is responsible for coordinating program activities and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to program participants. This role includes managing a caseload of program participants.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Overall coordination of individual care and services
  2. Client care and safety
  3. Service plan development and implementation
  4. Collaborating with Nursing to address healthcare issues, prescribed medications, discharge instructions, adaptive equipment needs, and training
  5. Meeting with Supports Coordinators/Case Managers to transfer ISP data
  6. Collaborating with Behavior Specialists regarding Behavior Support Plans; submitting to Peer Review; working with management on responses and plans; monitoring adherence
  7. Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A master's degree or higher with 1 year of experience working directly with individuals with intellectual disabilities or autism
  • A bachelor's degree with 2 years of relevant experience
  • An associate’s degree or 60 credit hours with 4 years of relevant experience
  • 1-3 years of supervisory/managerial experience (preferred)
  • NADD Certification within 1 year of hire
  • Certified Technology Assessor (preferred)
  • HRST Reviewer (preferred)
