Job summary

Sevita in Tucson, AZ seeks a dedicated full-time team member to coach individuals receiving support, help them prepare for employment, and connect with local employers. Monday–Friday, 7:30am–3:30pm, $18/hour.

Requires US citizenship, ability to drive a large van with trailer, 3–5 miles daily walking, and outdoor work. Will supervise a crew of six, fostering growth and independence.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Six months of experience in human services preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
  • Ability to walk 3-5 miles daily and comfortably work outside.
  • Willing to supervise a crew of six with diverse gender.

Responsibilities

  • Engage individuals by coaching, feedback, and skill development tasks.
  • Match individuals to employment or vocational opportunities.
  • Meet with employers to develop work opportunities.
  • Ensure individuals are groomed and attired for employment.
  • Provide feedback on service plan goals and skills development.
  • Deliver work adjustment training to improve work skills and behavior.
  • Promote communication with community contacts and sites.

Hourly rate: $18/Hour Full Time: Monday - Friday 7:30am-3:30pm Requirements: Must be a US citizen and provide a birth certificate, the ability to drive a large van pulling a trailer, requires the ability to walk 3-5 miles daily, comfortable working outside, and will run a crew of 6 individuals both male and female.

Responsibilities
  • Engage individuals receiving support by providing coaching, feedback, and demonstration of skill development tasks.
  • Participate in the process of matching individuals to employment or vocational opportunities.
  • Meet with employers to develop potential work opportunities.
  • Ensure individuals we support are appropriately groomed and attired for employment or task assignment.
  • Provide constructive feedback to individuals regarding service plan goals, community employer expectations, and development of skills to obtain and maintain competitive employment.
  • Deliver work adjustment training to assist employed individuals to improve work skills, work behaviors, interpersonal skills, and ethics, to maintain employment.
  • Promote communication with community contacts, community work site co-workers, local agencies, and state offices.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Six months of experience in human services preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing with access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented with ability to multi-task.
