Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Program Security Officer to oversee compliance with DoD security requirements and ensure protection of classified information. The role demands advanced consulting skills and experience in intelligence or DoD environments, requiring an active TS/SCI clearance. The successful candidate will develop solutions to security challenges and mentor fellow team members, alongside managing security administrative activities.
Program Security Officer
Key Role:
Perform a wide range of functions to ensure the protection of government-sensitive and classified information. Apply advanced consulting and extensive technical expertise. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Ensure the organization is compliant with DoD security requirements. Manage administrative activities for security clearances for the organization's employees, ensure the security of restricted access facilities and sensitive records, and advise management on pertinent issues. Analyze the development and implementation of key programs or processes for the organization. Work without considerable direction, and mentor and supervise team members, as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in the DoD or intelligence community
Experience in working with Special Access Program (SAP) information and dealing with SIC or JADE account look ups and creations
Experience with conducting indoctrinations, briefs, or debriefs, writing Standards of Procedures (SOPs), reviewing program security plans and SOPs for programs, and implementing security procedures in compliance with Intelligence Community directives and government policies
Experience working in a fast-paced team environment
Experience directing the activities of security specialists
Experience supporting, producing, and securing CAP intel
Knowledge of the CAP environment
Knowledge of submitting the accesses for SAPs and maintaining SAP training and records
Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of experience in distinct functional or cross-functional security areas, including personnel, physical, industrial security, computer investigations, classification management, operational security, or security education, or 15+ years of experience in distinct functional or cross-functional security areas, including personnel, physical, industrial security, computer investigations, classification management, operational security, or security education in lieu of a degree
Additional Qualifications:
Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
Ability to obtain a DoD Security Professional Education Development (SPeD) IAW DoD Manual # 3305.13M Certification within 12 months of start date
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
