Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Senior Physical Security Officer to provide multi-discipline security support for SAPs, SCI, and collateral data.

The role involves day-to-day analysis and ensuring adherence to NISPOM, DoD policies, and SAP guidance. The candidate will develop and implement security policies, perform facility reviews, brief personnel, and coordinate with SAP security staff to improve education and awareness programs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years related security experience.
• Experience with SAP/SCI security policies preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent security education required.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to NISPOM, its Supplement, the DoD Overprint, DCID, ICD, and SAP guidance.
• Develop and execute SAP/SCI and collateral data security procedures.
• Provide day-to-day security support and assess procedures for improvement.
• Identify vulnerabilities, threats, and risks in test, training, and operations.
• Brief government and senior civilian staff on security topics.
• Coordinate SAP security education and awareness program; assist in personnel training.
• Monitor corrective actions from compliance reviews and close-outs.
