Our team includes licensed Professional Engineers (PE), certified Project Management Professionals (PMP), and other industry professionals. We offer services in entitlement, development, design, procurement, construction management, project management, expert witness, and litigation support for various building types, delivering successful projects for clients including school districts, universities, commercial developers, and hospitality owners.

Job Summary
Are you looking to apply your skills and experience to make a difference in our community? Do you want to collaborate with a diverse team of professionals? Join us! This full-time position with Los Angeles Unified School District requires at least six years of scheduling experience on complex construction projects, preferably in educational or public works environments. Candidates should have advanced proficiency in Primavera 19.12 and Microsoft Office Suite, and understand Design-Bid-Build and Design-Build project delivery methods. A degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management is required. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, a clear communicator, and capable of developing and analyzing detailed construction schedules while building strong relationships across teams.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and maintain program schedules, identifying relationships, milestones, and constraints for various construction projects.
  2. Monitor and participate in project scheduling issues, ensuring best practices and standards are followed.
  3. Obtain accurate and timely schedule updates, perform QA/QC on received information.
  4. Create conceptual "what-if" schedules for multiple project types, including large, complex, multi-year projects.
  5. Prepare ad-hoc reports and analyses as directed by management.

Required Experience/Skills

  1. Six (6) years of full-time professional experience in scheduling for an Owner or General Contractor, preferably with educational or public works projects.
  2. Proficiency in Primavera 19.12 or above and MS Office Suite.
  3. Experience with Design-Bid-Build and Design-Build project delivery methods.
  4. Ability to build effective relationships with project teams and department staff.
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  6. Superior organizational and planning skills.

Required Education

  1. Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management from a recognized college or university.
