Job summary

University of California - Los Angeles Health is seeking a highly organized Program Manager to support the planning, development, and execution of program operations within the Department of Medicine. You will oversee day-to-day activities, coordinate strategic initiatives, manage deliverables, and drive growth in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 5 years as a project lead in a business/admin unit within a basic science/clinical department or service line.
• Understanding of strategic leadership, planning, and change management approaches in a complex environment, preferably a research-intensive medical school/health system.
• Ability to demonstrate an entry level of diplomacy in persuading and influencing people at various levels to achieve results.
• Ability to identify and analyze pertinent information and data to make and communicate recommendations and decisions.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to serve as a partner in maintaining a culture of integrity and accountability.
• Understanding of financial planning concepts as they pertain to academic health care, research, and higher education.
• Ability to serve as a receptive listener who seeks to understand differing sides of each situation.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate medical, policy, and administrative information in English.
