Job summary

TRITECH Communications seeks a Project Manager/Program Manager to plan, organize, direct, and control TRITECH resources for successful AV and Structured Cabling project delivery in the Washington, DC area. You will manage schedules, budgets, and stakeholder coordination to ensure client satisfaction and profitability.

The role involves leading cross-functional teams, overseeing site activities, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards across projects in financial services,

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of project management experience in AV, Structured Cabling, Low Voltage, Technology Integration, Electrical or Construction.
  • Knowledge of control systems, audio processing, video transport, UC platforms, fiber optics, CAT6/CAT6A and cabling standards.
  • Strong financial management, organizational, communication and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software.
  • Associate degree or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple AV and Structured Cabling projects from award through closeout.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and resource plans.
  • Lead coordination meetings with clients, consultants, architects, GCs, and internal teams.
  • Oversee engineering, procurement, installation, testing, commissioning, and closeout activities.
  • Manage change orders, risk mitigation, and project financial performance.
  • Ensure OSHA compliance, permitting, and quality/customer requirements.
  • Supervise deployment of conference room AV, Teams/Zoom Rooms, DSP, control systems, and cabling infrastructure.
  • Supervise field personnel and subcontractors.

We are currently looking to expand our team for a Project Manager / Program Manager who will plan, organize, direct, and control TRITECH resources and activities required to successfully deliver Audio Visual (AV) and Structured Cabling projects throughout the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area. This role is responsible for client satisfaction, project profitability, schedule adherence, quality execution, and coordination with clients, contractors, architects, consultants, vendors, and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple AV and Structured Cabling projects from award through closeout.

  • Supervise field personnel and subcontractors.
Qualifications
  • Associate degree or higher preferred.
  • 5+ years of project management experience in AV, Structured Cabling, Low Voltage, Technology Integration, Electrical, or Construction industries.
  • Knowledge of control systems, audio processing, video transport, UC platforms, fiber optics, CAT6/CAT6A and structured cabling standards.
  • Strong financial management, organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software.
Travel Requirements

Regular travel throughout Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia with occasional regional travel as required.

Compensation

$125K/yr – $135K/yr commensurate with experience and includes a comprehensive benefits package: Medical, Dental, Vision, Voluntary Life Insurance, Domestic Coverage, Paid Family Leave, generous Paid Time Off, Commuter Benefit, 10 Paid Holidays, a 401k plan with a discretionary employer match and Company paid Group Term Life Insurance and Long Term Disability.
