StraCon Services Group, LLC is seeking a Full-Time Program/Project/Management Analyst, Journeyman to support a NAVAIR program office in Patuxent River, MD. The role involves applying analytic techniques, analyzing requirements, budgets and schedules, and developing program documentation.

You will track status, prepare PIDs, SOWs, and CDRLs, provide updates on AMS tools, ensure data management and lifecycle support, and work independently or with a team to support DoD acquisition programs.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree required.
  • 3 to 10 years of program/project management experience.
  • Experience with AMS suite tools (CDRL, PMT, CSPT).
  • Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams, OneNote, Planner).

Responsibilities

Job ID# 1795 StraCon Services Group, LLC is seeking a Full-Time Program/Project/Management Analyst, Journeyman to join our team in supporting a NAVAIR program office in Patuxent River, MD. The Program/Project/Management Analyst, Journeyman will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following requirements.

Essential Job Duties:
  • Applies analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives.
  • Analyzes requirements, status, budget and schedules.
  • Performs management, technical, or business case analyses.
  • Collects, completes, organizes and interprets data relating to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition and product programs.
  • Tracks program/project status and schedules.
  • Develops program acquisition documentation such as PIDs, SOWs, and CDRLs.
  • Provides updates to NAVAIR AMS Tools (CDRLs, PMT, and CSPT) and advises Government on status of financial and procurement actions.
  • Applies government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management and data management.
  • Tracks program/project status and schedules, configuration management, data deliverables, and Data Management activities.
  • Applies SECNAV, OPNAV, and OSD policy and documentation to support programs/project through PPBS and life-cycle management of military acquisition programs (as specified in the DoD 5000 series).
  • Processes program acquisition, funding and contract documentation for military programs.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently or in a team environment.
Required Experience:
  • 3 to 10 years of experience performing duties described in the functional description.
  • Working knowledge of AMS suite of tools, i.e CDRL, PMT, CSPT.
    • Verifiable PMT and CSPT experience.
    • Verifiable experience processing PIDs from start to finish.
    • Experience drafting contract sections B-J
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams, OneNote, Planner).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Desired Experience:
  • Budget Balancing Skills.
  • At least four (4) years of experience in program management, technical or business analysis discipline; and at least two years professional experience in NAVAIR AMS Suite of Tools (CDRLs, PMT, and CSPT), technical efforts supporting major weapon systems and components development.
  • Experience providing critical program management support for major DoD acquisition systems with multiple appropriations and multiple type/model/series aircrafts and/or systems.
Required Education:
  • BA/BS degree.
Allowable Education Substitutions:
  • Associate’s Degree plus two (2) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Four (4) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree.
Security Requirements:
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

The estimated salary range for this position is $74,000.00 - $112,000.00. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidates level of knowledge, education, experience and skill sets.
