Job summary

Northrop Grumman is hiring a Program Planning Analyst/Scheduler for the Linthicum, MD site on an onsite 9/80 schedule. The role interfaces with Program Managers, Engineering, and Operations to build and maintain an Integrated Master Schedule with milestones and contractual need dates.

The ideal candidate has a related degree or 6 years of applicable experience, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to travel 10% domestically. US citizenship and a Secret security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with a minimum of 2 years of related work experience.
• Will consider 6 years of applied experience in lieu of degree requirement.
• Some planning/scheduling related experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• The ability to travel domestically 10% of the time.
• US Citizenship is required.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret level security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, maintain, and analyze a program IMS with milestones and contractual need dates.
• Interface with Program Managers, Engineering, Operations and Business Management to develop program plans and schedules.
• Decompose program scope into clearly defined tasks and identify dependencies and critical path impacts.
• Develop estimates to complete based on resource requirements for scheduled tasks.
• Manage status updates and develop internal/external reports on program status.
• Ensure compliance with EVMS Guidelines.
