Job description

Choice Digital is redefining modern disbursements. Our platform combines compliance, security, and simplicity to ensure every payment is delivered securely, instantly, and without friction. From eliminating fraud risk with real-time intelligence to guaranteeing payment delivery, we empower businesses to streamline financial operations while building trust with their customers.

Why Join Choice Digital

Choice Digital is growing fast, profitable, and scaling into new industries where modern disbursements are no longer optional – they’re essential.

Here's why people love building their careers here:

  • Proven growth: You'll join a profitable company serving 300+ clients and rapidly expanding into new markets.
  • Real impact: Your work will directly transform how money moves, solving inefficiencies that frustrate both businesses and customers.
  • Culture of confidence: Enjoy a collaborative, casual environment where we balance autonomy with accountability.
  • Future-focused: Help shape a rapidly evolving category – we’re not just part of the change, we’re leading it.
Our Core Values

Our Core Values guide how we work and who we strive to be.

  • Relentless Ownership . We take responsibility end to end. If it is ours, we own it until the outcome is achieved.
  • Find the Right Way Forward . When the work matters, we focus on solutions. We don’t get stuck on obstacles or default to “no.” If something aligns with our vision and improves outcomes for clients or recipients, we ask how to make it happen.
  • Lead with Integrity . We act in ways that make us worthy of trust from clients, consumers, and each other. We do not trade trust for speed, convenience, or short-term economics.
Position Overview

The Program Operations Manager will primarily own the operational setup and execution of new client programs, ensuring programs are configured correctly, thoroughly tested, and delivered against committed client timelines.

You’ll serve as a central point of coordination across Account Management, Product, Engineering, Payment Operations, and other stakeholders to translate client requirements into program configurations, manage implementation priorities, surface dependencies and risks, and keep programs progressing toward successful launches.

This is a hands‑on role. You’ll be expected to become an expert in how Choice Digital’s products and programs are configured, participate directly in program setup and QA, troubleshoot issues, and confidently join client conversations when implementation or technical expertise is needed.

As part of the broader Payment Operations organization, you’ll also support other operational priorities as needed. We’re building a team where people develop areas of primary ownership while remaining flexible enough to collaborate across functions and help solve the operational challenges that come with scaling a payments platform.

Key Responsibilities

Program Implementation & Go-Live Operations

  • Program Setup & Configuration: Serve as a primary owner of new client program setup within the Choice Digital platform. Translate client and product requirements into accurate configurations, complete hands‑on setup work, and ensure programs are prepared for testing and launch.
  • Program QA & Testing: Own and coordinate QA for new program configurations and changes to existing programs. Develop and execute testing processes to validate that program functionality, payment experiences, communications, and configurations meet requirements prior to launch.
  • Implementation Management: Manage client implementations from setup through go-live, maintaining clear timelines, milestones, dependencies, and ownership across internal teams. Drive execution against committed client launch dates and proactively identify anything that could put those dates at risk.
  • Go-Live Readiness: Coordinate final launch readiness across internal teams, ensuring required configuration, testing, approvals, documentation, and operational dependencies are complete before a program goes live.

Pipeline Management, Strategy & Process Improvement

  • Implementation Prioritization: Own the prioritization of the implementation pipeline based on client commitments, business priorities, resource availability, and technical dependencies. Provide stakeholders with clear visibility into current priorities, upcoming work, and potential constraints.
  • Issue & Risk Management: Proactively identify implementation risks, blockers, and dependencies and drive them toward resolution. Troubleshoot configuration and operational issues, identify root causes, and escalate appropriately when issues threaten client commitments or go‑live dates.
  • Process & Documentation: Help build the operating foundation of the Payment Operations organization by developing implementation playbooks, QA procedures, setup documentation, checklists, workflows, and standard operating procedures.
  • Continuous Improvement & Automation: Identify recurring implementation challenges, manual processes, and operational gaps. Work with Product, Engineering, and other stakeholders to improve our tools and processes, and look for opportunities to use data, SQL, scripting, or lightweight automation to make operational work more efficient and scalable.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Client Leadership

  • Cross-Functional Implementation Leadership: Lead weekly implementation meetings with cross-functional stakeholders, maintaining visibility into program status, upcoming launches, dependencies, risks, and action items. Drive accountability for the deliverables required to keep implementations on schedule.
  • Client-Facing Implementation Support: Participate in client meetings when operational or technical implementation expertise is needed. Help clients navigate program requirements, configuration decisions, testing, technical dependencies, and go‑live readiness.
  • Product Release Validation: Partner with Product and Engineering to validate new features and releases before they are introduced into production programs. Identify potential operational or client impacts and ensure new capabilities function as expected.
  • Payment Operations Support: Contribute to broader Payment Operations priorities as needed, including operational troubleshooting, program changes, data validation, process improvements, and other activities required to successfully operate and scale Choice Digital’s payment programs.
What We’re Looking For

Required:

  • 3+ years of experience in program operations, software implementation, technical implementation, project/program management, FinTech, or a related field.
  • Experience managing client implementations or complex cross-functional projects from requirements through launch.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent implementations with competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to establish timelines, identify dependencies, manage risks, and drive accountability across teams.
  • Comfortable becoming a subject‑matter expert on a technical product and translating between client requirements and internal technical teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with an interest in digging into data and systems to understand how and why something works.
  • Strong client‑facing communication skills and the ability to confidently participate in implementation and technical conversations.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and coordinate resolution across multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high degree of ownership and accountability.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, growing organization where processes are still being built, responsibilities may span multiple areas of Payment Operations, and priorities can evolve quickly.

Preferred:

  • Experience with software QA, testing, release validation, program configuration, or other hands‑on technical operations strongly preferred.
  • Strong preference for candidates with experience using SQL, scripting, APIs, data tools, or other lightweight technical/coding capabilities to investigate issues, validate data, automate repetitive work, or improve operational processes.
  • Experience in payments, FinTech, banking, financial services, SaaS, or another highly operational technology environment preferred.
Ready to Help Build What’s Next?

We’re looking for someone who enjoys getting into the details and taking ownership of an outcome. You can translate requirements into a working program configuration, test your work thoroughly, troubleshoot when something doesn’t behave as expected, and keep multiple implementations moving toward their deadlines.

You’re also someone who looks beyond the immediate task. You identify repetitive processes that could be improved, use data and technology to solve problems, and are willing to jump into broader operational priorities when the team needs support.

Just as importantly, we’re looking for someone who wants to help build a team and operating model, not simply step into an established one. You’ll have a meaningful voice in how Payment Operations evolves at Choice Digital, and your ability to establish strong processes and consistently execute against client commitments will be critical to the team’s success.

What we Offer
  • Competitive annual compensation range of $90,000 to $105,000
  • Annual bonus linked to company success and your personal performance
  • Equity offerings through stock options
  • 401(k) retirement savings match (up to 4%)
  • Flexible PTO policy
  • Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance

In compliance with Colorado state law, pay for this position is anticipated to be between $90,000 and $105,000. Actual offers will be based on the applicant’s skills, experience, and education.

While the anticipated deadline is anticipated to be November 14th, 2026, you are encouraged to submit your application as we may still consider qualified candidates beyond this date.
