Job summary

RTX, the world’s largest aerospace and defense company, seeks an experienced Program Operations leader in McKinney, TX. You will coordinate operations across program stakeholders, manage budgets, schedules, and risk, and ensure manufacturing readiness for development and production programs.

This onsite role requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance. The salary range is 107,500 to 204,500 USD annually, with comprehensive benefits for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• University degree with 8+ years in operations, manufacturing, program management.
• Experience with proposals, estimating, and Basis of Estimates (BOEs).
• Minimum 5 years in program or project management.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead Program Operations execution and integration across program stakeholders to meet quality, cost, schedule, and production targets.
• Serve as the main Operations interface to Program Management, integrating factory, supply chain, quality, engineering, and other inputs into consolidated execution plans.
• Lead strategic Operations planning for development and production programs, identifying risks and resource needs.
• Establish and maintain integrated priorities and schedules for Make assemblies and Buy material alignment to production.
• Identify and resolve operational risks and conflicts impacting requirements, cost, schedule, or production commitments.
• Lead Operations planning for transition of development programs into production, including readiness, capacity and resource needs.
• Develop Operations requirements and strategies for program gate reviews and ensure actions are implemented.
• Own the Operations budget and Estimate at Completion (EAC), including forecasts and corrective actions.
