Job summary

Charleys Kids Foundation, a nonprofit supported by Charleys Cheesesteaks, seeks a Program Operations Lead to oversee day-to-day programs, drive execution, and strengthen partnerships. The Director role connects people, manages priorities, and builds infrastructure to expand impact.

Responsibilities include leading program operations, project management, community engagement, and executive partnership, with a focus on education, mentorship, and literacy initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience.
• Experience managing complex projects and coordinating multiple priorities.
• Action oriented and able to complete tasks from start to finish.
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
• Experience working with schools, community organizations, or nonprofits.
• Ability to work independently while leading collaborative initiatives.
• Passion for education, mentorship, literacy, and community impact.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operations of Charleys Kids Foundation programs, ensuring consistency, quality, and organizational effectiveness.
• Develop infrastructure and systems that support organizational efficiency and long-term growth.
• Coordinate volunteer recruitment campaigns, informational presentations, and community tabling events, including scheduling, logistics, materials, and team coordination.
• Serve as the Foundation's project manager by coordinating initiatives from planning through completion and tracking deadlines.
• Develop and implement strategies to recruit volunteers through community outreach and partnerships.
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives that support the Foundation's mission and ensure timely follow-through.
• Translate organizational vision into actionable implementation plans and partner with the Executive Director to advance strategic priorities.
• Represent Charleys Kids Foundation at community meetings, conferences, and events to strengthen relationships.
