Job summary

Howard University seeks a Program Operations Manager for the WKHS project, a multi-institutional initiative funded by Lilly Endowment to strengthen Black theological education. You will oversee grant administration, compliance, and reporting while coordinating communications across seven partner institutions.

Responsibilities include managing meetings, event logistics, and partnerships, ensuring timeliness and accuracy of deliverables, and supporting the Executive Director in day-to-day

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Higher Education, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of administrative, project coordination, or program support experience.
• Experience with sponsored programs, grant administration, or compliance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Grant Administration & Compliance: track expenditures, prepare reports, ensure Uniform Guidance compliance.
• Communications & Information Management: manage newsletters, websites, and stakeholder materials.
• Meeting & Event Coordination: plan quarterly WKHS meetings, agendas, and logistics.
• Partnership Support & Coordination: liaise with partner institutions and manage MOUs & subawards.
