Job summary

REGENT is pioneering Seaglider programs to transform coastal transit. We seek a Program Management Operations Lead to design and run the operating system for Seaglider programs, starting with Viceroy, REGENT's flagship initiative, guiding it toward major design gates.

You will build cadence, track risks, manage gates, and deliver dashboards that show program health to leadership. You’ll deploy the tooling and drive adoption, ensuring lean processes accelerate progress without adding waste.

Qualifications

• Proven program operations experience on complex hardware development programs.
• Experience creating repeatable processes that teams actually use.
• Direct experience supporting gates through PDR/CDR or equivalent — readiness tracking and closure.
• Hands-on ability to build workflows and dashboards in Jira/Confluence/Smartsheet-type tools.
• Judgment to prune unnecessary processes and keep the system lean.

Responsibilities

• Build the Program Operating System: design and implement program operating cadence — program reviews, risk boards, action and decision logs — scaled to a fast-moving startup.
• Run Gate Readiness: stand up tracking for PDR and CDR — entry criteria decomposition, evidence tracking, review logistics, action closure.
• Facilitate Risk Management: operate the program risk process — structured register, mitigations, decision-forcing reviews.
• Own Program Tooling: implement and administer the toolchain (Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, or equivalent) — workflows, dashboards, documentation architecture.
• Publish the Truth: build and maintain program dashboards and metrics that leadership trusts as the source of program health.
• Scale Across Programs: extend the operating system from Viceroy to REGENT's broader program portfolio — tailored, not reinvented.
