Job summary

Saint Mary's Community Services seeks Program Assistants to provide operational and program support across services, helping keep facilities clean, safe, and organized. You will handle routine cleaning, laundry, inventory, restocking, donations, and other tasks to support daily program operations.

You will work with staff, volunteers, donors, and partners to deliver respectful, client-centered services and maintain health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or facilities support is preferred.
• Ability to manage inventory, donations, and laundry tasks as part of daily operations.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse clients and partners.

Responsibilities

• Support the daily operations of assigned programs and service areas to promote safe, organized, efficient, and consistent service delivery.
• Maintain program areas in a clean, sanitary, organized, and service-ready condition per procedures.
• Perform routine cleaning, sanitizing, restocking, and facility upkeep during shifts.
• Monitor areas for safety hazards and report concerns promptly.
• Assist with inventory, receiving supplies, and replenishment needs.
• Receive, sort, store, and distribute donations and materials as assigned.
• Perform laundry-related duties including washing, drying, folding, and restocking.
• Open/close program areas and support staff with operational needs.
• Interact with clients, staff, volunteers, donors, vendors, and partners professionally.
