Borealis Philanthropy in the United States is seeking a Program Officer for the Racial Equity in Journalism (REJ) Fund. You will lead the design and implementation of programming, grantmaking and related activities to advance racial equity in journalism.

Working with a small team, you will identify new grantees, provide direct technical assistance, connect grantees to resources, and help refine program processes for greater impact.

Responsibilities

• Leads design and implementation of programming, grantmaking and other activities for the REJ Fund.
• Oversees day-to-day activities, identifies new potential grantees that align with the Fund strategy, and supports existing grantees through networking and technical assistance.
