Job summary

The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine seeks a program officer to contribute to the REDI initiative within the Biomedical and Health Sciences Program. You will help manage working groups, develop strategy, oversee budgets, and produce workshop papers, summaries, and proceedings addressing data lifecycle management and resource prioritization.

The role requires a Master’s degree (Ph.D.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required; Ph.D. preferred.
• Experience with research data governance, stewardship, interoperability, or data infrastructure desirable.
• Three years of related professional experience; ability to translate complex topics into deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Develops program or project strategy, manages budget, and ensures objectives are met.
• Leads workshops and meetings; prepares agendas and summaries.
• Represents the program to external partners and sponsors.
