Job summary

Colorado Treatment Services in Pueblo, CO seeks a Program Nurse to join the treatment team, dispensing prescribed medications and managing dispensing equipment in partnership with Physicians and Nursing Supervisors.

The ideal candidate holds a current LPN/RN license in Colorado with CPR certification; chemical dependency experience is preferred. We offer comprehensive benefits, a caring workplace, and Sundays off to rest and recharge.

Qualifications

• Current & good standing LPN/RN license in the State of application.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Experience in chemical dependency preferred, self-motivated, and positive attitude toward individuals in substance abuse treatment.

Responsibilities

• Accurately dispensing prescribed medications.
• Performing daily operations of the clinic pharmacy and inventory control of controlled substances.
• Consulting patients regarding their medication regimen.
• Assisting the medical director in patient care including physicals, bloodwork, lab procurement and results recording.
• Maintaining reports required by state and federal regulations.
