Collins Aerospace is seeking a collaborative, results-driven program Mechanical Engineer for a Hybrid role in Rockford. You will lead Integrated Master Schedules, manage budgets, and coordinate Systems Integration across development, qualification, and documentation teams to deliver high-quality results.

Qualifications include a STEM degree with 2 years of experience (or an Advanced Degree or 6 years with no degree).

Qualifications

• STEM degree required unless prohibited by local laws with 2 years of relevant experience; advanced degree acceptable.
• 6 years of relevant experience in absence of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead Integrated Master Schedules and detailed program plans with key milestones.
• Manage budgets and schedule performance using EVMS.
• Coordinate Systems Integration across development, qualification, and documentation.
• Address risks and develop mitigation and recovery plans.
• Lead status meetings with technical leads and project teams.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to keep projects on track.
• Communicate program status and maintain alignment on priorities.
• Navigate complex technical and programmatic challenges to drive completion.
