Job summary

The University of California, Berkeley Haas School of Business is hiring a Program Manager to lead the Berkeley Business Academy for Youth (B-BAY) virtual programs for high school and middle school students. You will oversee planning, coordination, and evaluation to ensure engaging, high-quality experiences that align with the program’s mission.

You will manage curriculum development, staff recruitment, budgets, and strategic communications, while fostering partnerships with the Haas community

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge and experience in business, finance or entrepreneurship and/or youth development.
• Comprehensive experience advising and supporting students regarding postsecondary opportunities and careers.
• Advanced knowledge of up-to-date information on K-12 and higher education policies and issues.
• Knowledge of and/or ability to learn common University-specific computer applications (Canvas, Canva, Airtable, Slack, STOVA, Microsoft suite, Google suite).
• High-level skills in communicating clearly and effectively verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Oversees development and management of the Berkeley Business Academy for Youth (B-BAY) virtual programs for high school and middle school students.
• Plan, coordinate, and implement all aspects of the program including curriculum support, student engagement, instructor coordination, and evaluation.
• Develop and execute a communications strategy spanning fall and spring semesters.
• Recruit faculty, volunteers, and staff; develop curriculum materials and syllabi for academic year programs.
• Manage budget and ensure revenue generation goals; stay current with edtech trends and implement new technologies.
