Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 2 years' related work experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong presentation skills or outside sales experience.
• Familiarity with the communities being served and local needs/resources.
• Demonstrated knowledge of labor market trends.
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Valid driver's license in good standing and proof of automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintain knowledge of the local labor market and job placement opportunities.
• Develops plans with employers to identify job openings and training initiatives.
• Works with staff to facilitate job placements.
• Contacts and supports employers with recruiting, interviewing, and hiring qualified candidates.
• Enters employer information into databases and monitors employer activities.
• Assists with job fairs and employer hiring events.
• Occasionally works outside normal hours to support events or deadlines.
• Oversees project programmatic activities and operations.
