Job summary

MMVC, part of N Street Village, seeks a Program Manager to lead workforce development, education, and employer engagement initiatives in Washington, DC. You will supervise staff, manage grants, and drive program performance with a trauma-informed, person-centered approach.

The role partners with the Director of Health and Wellbeing, builds education pathways, expands financial capability, and develops strong employer pipelines across healthcare, hospitality, and other key sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services, workforce development, or related field; master's preferred.
• Minimum four years in workforce development or related fields with two years of supervision.
• Knowledge of DC workforce systems, benefits programs, and employer engagement.
• Experience with trauma-informed, person-centered, culturally responsive practices.
• SOAR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee MMVC workforce development, education, and employer engagement initiatives.
• Develop and manage annual strategic workforce development plan.
• Supervise MMVC staff, interns, and volunteers.
• Ensure program compliance with grant requirements and data reporting.
• Coordinate partnerships with employers, education providers, and community partners.
• Provide trauma-informed services and advocate for clients.
